KnockoutIt is reported that mice deficient in cystinyl aminopeptidase show substantial decreases in glucose transporter GLUT4 levels but maintain normal glucose homeostasis (Keller et al., 2002).
Pharmaceutical relevance'Conclusion: Maternal serum P-LAP activity decreases in cases with spontaneous preterm delivery and may be a marker for some cases of preterm labor.' (Kozaki et al., 2001).
